Professor Lipnitzki conducted research on brain function. He made breakthroughs using animals in his research, however, he reached a critical point that he could not jump over. He decided that in order to break the impasse he should start conducting experiments on the human nerve center. When he presented this idea at the university, he met with a categorical refusal from the authorities. Moreover, fearing for the university's reputation, his research grant was reduced and his work was closely monitored. When various chemicals began to disappear from the university, the first suspicion fell on Professor Lipnitzki. However, the university could not do anything on its own, so it reported the matter to the police.
