In the shadow of the pyramids

It's 1936, and near the Egyptian city of Tanis, in the midst of ancient ruins ravaged by the vicissitudes of time and nature, the Nazi military was unexpectedly spotted just beginning archaeological work. Concerned British intelligence concluded that the Nazis must have gotten on the trail of something of great value, since they had entered a foreign country with such an unusual expedition. Just what could be hiding in such a desolate and cut-off place from civilization....

The British government has turned to you, a group of local scientists and archaeologists to investigate the Nazis' intentions. German troops cannot learn of your presence, so remember: Your goal is only to get information and to pass it to the command immediately. According to the plan, you were to meet with British agents, sent hastily from Cairo, to start the operation together. Unfortunately, a sandstorm prevented you from contacting them. The situation became risky, but you decided to start the reconnaissance on your own, hoping that the agents would join the mission in the meantime.
